Since its founding in 1913, the Fullerton College community has lived through extraordinary events including the World Wars, the Great Depression, and the Vietnam War. We are living through another period comparable to the Flu Pandemic of 1918 and the Great Depression rolled into one crisis of historic proportions. The Fullerton College Library invites you to help us document this unusual time.

Modern historians have argued that history isn’t simply comprised of the actions of famous figures. The thoughts and experiences of students, faculty, staff, and administrators will be valuable keys to unlock what it was like to live through this pandemic while working and studying at Fullerton College. The goal of the Fullerton College Library Archives is to retain our campus voices through these pandemic stories as a legacy for future generations.

We are creating a collection to document the life of Fullerton College students and employees during the current COVID-19 pandemic. We want your stories for the future Fullerton College community, but also to connect us by showing that we are not alone in our experiences. These stories can shape our understanding and create empathy for those living a pandemic experience different from our own. The preservation of your story is important because we are all part of the making of history,
