Library Resources for Instructors

Below is a list of resources available to instructors to use in their online instruction. There are numerous options available from Canvas modules, LibGuides, or Kahoot games. If you would like any of these customized for your class, please contact Jill Kageyama at jkageyama@fullcoll.edu to see if anything can be arranged.

Library building is closed for Fall 2020

Please enjoy our online library.

Remote Instruction Support

Librarians are available to support faculty doing remote instruction. We have several options that can be custom tailored for your assignment and class needs. Options include:

  • Asynchronous Instruction – Librarians will work with you to create Research Guides with Kahoot! challenges for students to get hands-on practice searching and evaluating information.
  • Synchronous Instruction – A librarian will hold a Zoom session during your regular class time, answer any questions and distribute the recording.
  • Canvas Workshops – We developed robust online workshops on evaluating sources, avoiding plagiarism, and using the library. Canvas assignment pages with videos and reflection questions can also be embedded into any course.

Browse Our Guides

We have created numerous course guides throughout the years. We encourage instructors to browse our LibGuides for content they may use in their classes. Chances are that a guide already exists for your class. Or you may find a general guide that fits your needs. If you’d like us to create a custom course research guide for your class’s online research needs, just let us know by writing to Jill Kageyama at jkageyama@fullcoll.edu.

Canvas Workshops

Faculty, let the library make your life easier. We have 3 workshops that can enhance your students’ informaton literacy: Library Orientation, Evaluating Sources, and Avoiding Plagiarism. Better yet, we do the grading. For more information and shareable Canvas assignment pages that you can import into your course, please contact Lugene Rosen at lrosen@fullcoll.edu.
