When will I know if I got a gift card?

We hope to review all submissions and have our top picks ready by the first week of May.

How can I submit my ideas?

Please use the First-Floor Ideas form. Please describe your idea as best as you can. 

Can I submit more than one idea?

Yes. You can submit more than one idea, but we will only give one gift card per person.

If the library likes my idea, does that mean you’ll make it happen?

Unfortunately, we cannot guarantee that we will implement any of the submitted ideas due to various practical and monetary considerations. But, we may take inspiration from any submissions.

Which area of the library are you looking to redesign?

The area on the first-floor behind the “Reference Desk”. From the front doors, head to the right of the staircase to find the Reference Desk. Behind it is a space filled with short bookshelves. That’s the area we are thinking to change.

Why are you looking to change this space?

That area is filled with books that are not often used. We think that there is an opportunity to move those books to a different location and use that space for something else.
