Library Instruction

The library provides instruction sessions for one month during the Fall and Spring semesters. Students can select one or more of these sessions (which are all 50 minutes long). You do not need to sign up beforehand.

There are four instruction sessions available (each with their own hands-on exercises):

  • Basic Research Survival Skills
  • Evaluating Web Sites
  • Preventing Plagiarism: Using Turnitin.com and NoodleBib
  • Works Cited Made Easy with MLA

For a complete schedule of instruction sessions, check the bulletin board outside room 827 or click here for a downloadable version.

For further information on these instruction sessions, please visit the Library Instruction page.

LIB 100 and LIB 100H (Introduction to Research) are 1-unit transferable classes. For more information, please see the current class schedule (copies can be found at the Reference Desk).
