To cite a website, you will need
to know:
• Author or creator of site, if known
• Title of website (or if no title, provide description; for example,
Homepage)
• Date of the website posting/revision, if provided
• Name of institution or organization associated with the website
• Date Month Year you accessed or used the website
• <website address or URL (uniform resource locator), in angle
brackets>
The citation is arranged:
Author or creator of site. Title or
name of Website. Date of
Posting/Revision. Name of institution/organization
affiliated with
the website. Date of access <electronic
address>.
