Library Services

Are you a student that needs help on a research paper? A faculty member looking to educate your students on what separates a good source from a bad source? Or are you looking to work with a librarian to acquire a book or other resource for your academic needs?

The Fullerton College Library provides tailored services for students and faculty. We will work with you to understand your class or research needs to make sure you have appropriate resource support.

So if you need some help, just let us know. For most services, we just need you fill-out a quick form — it’s to help us understand your project and to pair you up with the appropriate librarian.

Faculty Services

Library Instruction Sessions

Bring your class to the library! We will give them an overview of our library resources, how to know a good source from bad, how to use non-Google databases for research, and how to Google effectively. All library sessions are customized to fit each class and are held in a dedicated computer-equipped classroom.

Course Reserves

Faculty can leave books or course material on reserve at the library. Students would then be able to check the material out for up to 2 hours at a time.

Purchase Requests

FC Library welcomes suggestions for the acquisition of materials that support the curriculum and the information needs of the campus community and that reflect the diversity of the population we serve.

Borrow Items

Fullerton Community College students and faculty can borrow resources with their Campus ID. Just present your ID with the book or resource at the Circulation Desk, located to the left of the main staircase.
