Placing Holds
To Place a Hold on a book that is currently checked-out follow
these instructions.
Please note that Reserve materials and books on order cannot be
placed on HOLD at any time.
- At the Library Home Page, select Find
A Book on the left-hand column.
- Search the Catalog to locate
the item.
Select Request located at the top of the screen
after you have found an item you want.
- Enter your 14-digit barcode number found at
the bottom of your student ID card.
- Type your last name into the 3rd box.
- Login.
- Select Hold as the type of
request. Click OK.
- WebVoyage Request: Hold
with the title of the item you are requesting will appear.
- Enter your 14-digit barcode number from your
student ID into the Barcode box.
- Submit Request located at
the bottom of the screen.
- Your Patron Initiated Request was successful
will come up.
- Either Log Out or continue
searching for additional items by selecting Back to
Record.
- Logout
at the top of the screen.
- Exit by clicking the top right-hand
red button when finished using the catalog.
