Computers
Research Computers: There are thirty computers on the first floor of the Library near the Reference Desk with access to the Internet that may be used for research only. Two computers are dedicated to adaptive use. Priority for these terminals is for the disabled. These computers are available to users for one-hour. There is no software on these computers.
Laptops: There are eighteen laptops available for check-out at the Reserve Desk on the first floor of the library. They all include the MS Office suite.
Computer Commons: There are fifteen computers on the first floor of the Library behind the photocopy center between the Reference Collection and the TV/VCRs. These computers are expressly for research and writing. Computers include the full MS Office suite.
10-minute Online Express Computers: There are nine computers on the column countertops in the Lobby, just inside the Main Entrance of the Library. Users may access the Internet and MS Office. Computers time-out without warning after 10-minutes.
Online Catalog Computers: There are eleven computers in the Library that are completely dedicated to locating library books, periodicals, and media. Four of the computers are located in the Reference Collection on the first floor of the Library. Seven are located in Periodicals and the Book Collection areas on the second floor of the Library.
