Information Competency

The Library maintains its strong commitment to information competency by meeting the campus vision, mission, and ethics, as well as those prescribed by the Library itself through its library instruction program.

The following sites are provided for you as a means of informing you of the effort underway to support Information Literacy Competency Standards for the California Community Colleges and in Higher Education.

III. Online Tutorial

Santa Ana College Information Competency Tutorial
A series of modules that guides the user through the process of using online databases and the Web.  Each module concludes with an exercise.
