American Sociological Association
This 101 year-old non-profit national membership organization is dedicated to serving its members, and educating the global community regarding policies, programs, and scientific advances in the diverse field of Sociology.

American Studies Web
The American Studies Web site is a pilot version part of the Crossroads Project, which is affiliated with Georgetown University. It is a huge webliography with links to over 2,000 American Studies web sites arranged by broad category, including a category for Social Movements and Sociological Studies.

Electronic Journal of Sociology
Users can set up a free log-in account to receive notices of new issues and to access this electronic journal for free! The mission of this free electronic journal is to bring sociologic issues to the public in a variety of formats. “It is part of a new publishing paradigm whereby the scholars themselves retain control over all aspects of the scholarly communication process.”

This Gender Equality: Striving for Justice in an Unequal World
A 336 page report published by the United Nations Research Institute for Social Development (UNRISD) placing important emphasis on gender equality research.

Project Censored is run from Sonoma State University, currently under the leadership of Dr. Peter Phillips, Assistant Sociology Professor and Media Research Specialist. The purpose of this site is to research news stories of social importance that are often overlooked by the mainstream news media.

The SocioLog: Julian Dierkes' Comprehensive Guide to Sociology Online
SocioLog is owned/maintained by Julian Dierkes, Ph.D. in Sociology, who is an assistant professor at the University of British Columbia in Vancouver Canada. Dr. Dierkes has been committed since 1994 to the cataloging of online sociology resources.
