You may place a hold on a book that is currently checked-out. If a book
is on the shelf, you cannot place a hold and reserve this item.
You must come into the library and check the book out.
To place a hold on a book, follow these instructions. Please note that
Reserve materials and books on order cannot be placed on hold at any
time.
- On the Library Home Page, click on SEARCH | BOOK on
the left-hand column.
- Search the online catalog to
locate the item.
- Select Request an Item located at the top of the
screen after you have found an item you want.
- Enter your student ID number located under your name on your Student
ID.
- Type your last name into the 3rd box.
- Login.
- Select Hold as the type of request. Click OK.
- WebVoyage Request: Hold with
the title of the item you are requesting will appear.
- Enter your Student ID number into the box.
- Submit Request located at the bottom of the screen.
- Your Patron Initiated Request was successful will
come up.
- Either Log Out at the top of the screen or continue
searching for additional items by selecting Back to Record.
Exit by clicking the top right-hand red button when finished
using the catalog.
