Basic Library Instruction Sessions [BLIS]

Four basic library instruction sessions are offered during the month of October in the fall semester and during the month of March in the spring semester.

These sessions are:

  1. Basic Research Survival Skills
  2. Evaluating Web Sites
  3. Preventing Plagiarism: Using Turnitin.com and NoodleBib
  4. Works Cited Made Easy with MLA

Students are welcome to come to any or all of these 50-minute sessions. Sign up is not required. Each instruction session is structured around an optional written exercise designed to give hands-on practice and to be used for verification of attendance.
